Avoid the summer Slide?
The “summer slide” is the term used to describe the decline of a student’s learning during the summer break. Studies have shown that students lose about one month’s worth of education during the summer. The “summer slide” can be avoided.
Who can benefit from the program?
The Summer Tutoring Program is recommended for elementary and middle school students (grade 1 – 8) who would like to strengthen their skills. The program reinforces past standards as well as expose students to the upcoming material they will be learning in the new school year.
The Study-Skills program is recommended for High School students. The program will be extremely beneficial for students entering 9th grade. We want all of our students to start High School STRONG!
